From Geneva via Lyon to Le Puy-en-Velay (315 km): Via Lugdunum This route runs through a low mountain range (Southern Jura, Bugey, Monts du Lyonnais, Monts du Forez) and allows for an easy crossing of Lyon, passing exclusively through the UNESCO World Heritage districts. This path, the shortest from Geneva to Le Puy-en-Velay, also comes very close to a historical pilgrimage route.
